I go an visit my kiva loan person time to time. I just went to visit her 9 days ago. It was really hard she showed and explaind to me how the woman go and get water I went to go see what they have to go through just to get water for a day. We woke up early and we went outside and I saw all the woman coming out of their houses with gaint 5, 10 gallons worth of water bottles that they were going to fill up. Estrella and I started are long walk to the water. We ran into a kid my age taking care of his fathers farm, and he lost one of his water buffalo. We helped him find it and he walked with us for a little. Estrella had to translate a lot of what he was saying. He was saying that he might expect some rain. he had to go back to his father to tell him the good news. We have been walking for about two hours. As we talked about how her business has been doing we found that we were there at the water hole. It took us time and concentration to fill up the 5 gallons. It was starting to get dark but it was still dusk. I found it a little scary. I had to take a break every 10 minutes I was really impressed how fast she was walking. I saw clouds starting to come over us It got could than it started to sprinkle than pored. I felt the sore pain eking in my shoulders the mud in my toes. When we got to her home I felt like there wasn't any gravity. I thought to myself when was the last time Ive every done anything like that before.

My trip to Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, Philippines, Day 4
When my eyes got focused I saw the four kids sitting under the sunlight eating juicy mangos with rice and eggs a normal breakfast meal in the philipens. Bryan looked up at me with a great wide smile as mango juice dripped down off his face. I sat down and in the philipens most people eat in silence. I listened to all the different bird calls while we ate, after breackfast the kids showed me a nest that was close to there house with little baby birds. Bird sounds Estrella came out and said to me today your going to come and see what I do, tomorrow you get to hang out with the kids. After we walked the kids to the school we took a bus all the way into town which was about 10 miles away from the school. We spent the whole day setting up the resturaunt, until 3:00 that's when we picked up the kids and walked back to their house.

A awesome roomy place but lots of mirrors to make the place look bigger. I asked if her and her 4 children all live here she said oh this is Bryan Manolocia Chirstin Veronica are their names. My trip to Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, Philippines, Day 1
I waited for the boat for ten minutes, finally it came. I started to researched some words in Filipino so I could talk in her native language, I knew she knew how to speak a little English but I just wanted to try so we could both learn. I thought about what would be the most important words I would need to no so I thought about if someone came here that didn't know English what would I want someone to know. Hello im Kaleb translates to Kamusta im Kaleb. Help me translates to tulungan ninyo ako Do you where the bathroom is? translates to Alam mo ba kung saan ang banyo? Thank you translates to Salamat, whats your name? whats iyong pangalan? Nice meeting you
Nice pagtugon mo, Excuse me patawarin ninyo ako. I heard the boat make a big noise I put down my Filipino Dictionary away and I it turned out we were there. I walked off the boat and she was holding a sign up for me with my name spelled with a c it made me laugh.

My trip to Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, Philippines
I started to pack for my 5:00am morning flight where I would land in Los Angles then fly from there all the way to the Philippines from there take a boat to the Negros Occidental and meet Estrella Zamora.
My mom thought I went to sleep but I couldn't wait and I was just to excited finally at 12:00 I went to sleep. I only got 2 hours and 15 minutes, I almost fell asleep standing up as my mom pushed me time was ticking now we were in a rush. My mom slammed the gas and in about 30 minutes we were on the plan. We arrived in Los Angles at 4:30 my mom got up to where they take your ticket my mom looked through her purse and she lost it, and there were no more seats besides first class but since my mom loves me so much I got on the plan without her on first class. I got woken up by the waiters she said that we had been on land for 10 minutes I was a little bummed cause it was my first time on first class. Anyway I had to worry about getting on the boat, I calmed down and relaxed and I made it

My Heros journey
Step on it I say to my cab driver I have a flight in 20 minutes. He speeds up do the airport. I get my luggage out and rush to the plain. " Do you have any spare change on you to help me get home?" I look down oh god its you again I roll my eyes, I kept walking. I look at my wathch 10 minutes. Take my shoes off take whats out of my pockets, "no beeps your clear". I get on the plain look for my seat I think inside my head yes nobody sitting next to me. I heard the announcers go on "do we have one seat available on the plain I thought in my head, don't say anything. The person in front of me jumped up and said this man next to him there is a empty seat. I gave the man a death stare. I couldn't believe who was sitting next to me, it was the homeless man who asked me for change. The plain started to lift, I kept telling my self that the ride would be over quick.
2 hours later
The announcer went on again and it was the pilot he said we were coming over some rough weather and may you please fasten your seat belts. I could hear thunder and rain the plain shook the plain shook again it started to feel like we were falling.... They asked everyone to stay come engine one wasn't working correctly. I blacked out... I woke up but could only see blurriness then blacked out again. I woke up the 2 time, I tried to get up. My sight came clear, I realized we were on a deserted island. I didn't see the plain in sight. "Hey are you ok" said the homeless guy. I turned around "what happen are their any survivors" "Nope just you and me" I refuse to help someone like you. The sunset went down and the moon rose, it was getting dark. The homeless guy set up a fire. "well if were gonna be here alone we should know each others name" " the names Henry" I replied " well my name is Tim from what i know after my parents died i've been called that." The next morning I woke up with sand in my hair mouth everywhere I saw Tim walking up with two fish how did you learn to catch fish? I think my father taught me but don't remember him too much. We spent the whole day trying to find food and shelter. It was already dark and Tim went off to search for food. I heard something coming faraway, suddenly a search helicopter came of of now where and told me to hop in. I couldn't my new friend was in there i had to wait I yelled Tim, finely he came out of the forest he ran in the helicopter and we set off to home.
years later
Tim and I returned home safe and sound and I realized that I shouldn't of chugged him by who he was and that friendship was most important then anything. I helped Tim find a job and now Tim and I became best friends and every time I take a plain ride he always comes with.

They also played with hacky sacks. There was lots of laughter, games, singing, and dancing, some of the kids made instruments.

My day with Maruge wa kerĩ - the second day

I woke up to the loud sound of chickens, I sat up in my tent in front of Maruges house I could still feel the rocks pushing into my back. My back was aching from the hard ground. I got dressed came out of my tent. I knocked on Maruges door he came out and saw my tent still up he told me to pack it up and said we have a long day out of the town. We started walking through the town and all these little kids came up to me and started looking at my new clean clothes and started pick pocketing and one of the little kids asked what my phone was? said this allows you to talk to someone very very far away. They looked at me as I was crazy, Maruge took a step forward and spoke in his native language, I was amazed of how it sounded. The same kid that asked me what was my phone picked it up and started talking to himself. A little while later we where on top of a mountain I was still thinking of his language I asked him what language he was speaking he replied with Bantu Kikuyu. I asked how do you say drum, Kĩhembe what about orange - Ngoikoni lion - Mũrũthi. We went back to the the village and the sunset was already gone.
